Family Learning @ Kelvin Grove
As you will already know if you are already part of our school community, Family Learning plays a huge part in the culture of our school and is firmly embedded into the tapestry of our ethos.
Our courses vary from One off Seminars or Events, Parent and Child Learning Together programmes, to 20 week certified and accredited Adult Learning Courses.
We strive to offer the courses you feel are valuable for your family. We welcome all suggestions.
In addition to the Family Learning Programme, our parents and carers are regularly invited into school to share in our;
- School Performances
- Class Assemblies
- Friends of Kelvin Planning Meetings
- Working Together in the Classroom Sessions
- Christmas Decorations Day……and much much more…..
Parent Partners supporting school trips, helping out around school and playing an active role in our fund raising activities are always warmly appreciated.
N.B. We are keen fundraisers for Macmillan Cancer Support and this September we raised £200 from our efforts for Britain Biggest Coffee Morning. Our parent support was FANTASTIC!
Have a look at our programme for this academic Year. We will be updating it as further opportunities arise. If there is a course you would like to book, just contact Joanne Phillips, our Family Support Worker to book a place. Or if there is a course you would like to see, just let us know and we’ll try to make it happen.
