This term we hosted our first “International Festival” to showcase our Enterprise week with the wider community. Each class chose a country to research and make a product to sell, either food, craft or both. The children also learnt a traditional dance from their country which they performed at the festival. The event was a great success and we were overwhelmed by the response from parents!
Our Chair of Governors, Mr Ian Mearns commented, “I was delighted to attend the International Day at Kelvin Grove and what a fantastic turn out from the children’s relatives and friends. The children were brilliant and the whole event was an unforgettable day. A great way to lead into half term.”
